Isle of Wight MP Bob Seely is encouraging venues across the Island to apply to host Radio 4’s Any Questions panel show in the future after a successful broadcast last week.
The long running BBC show, hosted by Jonathan Dimbleby, was at Ventnor Winter Gardens on Friday with a panel of politicians and media personalities answering questions posed by a local audience.
Bob has said:
“I would very much like to see this great radio programme back on the Island soon and I hope venues like church halls or schools will be interested in hosting”.
The BBC has said that capacity would need to be around 250 but often smaller venues are fine. There needs to be raked seating or a stage of some sort and 2 rooms, 1 for production and 1 for a green room.
More information and an application form for those interested can be found at https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/1YYBrTxwH76GcTC0t2Kyy25/hosting.
