A fire at a property in East Cowes was extinguished by the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service earlier this afternoon (Saturday).
Firefighters from Newport and East Cowes were called to Adelaide Grove at 15:10 after a bay window at a residential property was reported to be alight.
Island Echo understands a heat gun caused the wooden structure to catch fire.
The small fire was extinguished and both appliances left the scene by 16:00.
