Tom Dunnett, Dan Poole and Ben South from the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service will be running The Great South Run on Sunday to raise money for a life-saving defibrillator for the local community.
The trio have been training for the big race this coming weekend, which will see thousands of runners, joggers and walkers tackle a 1o-mile course around the streets of Portsmouth.
With a target of £900, it is hoped that enough money can be raised for the Isle of Wight Ambulance Training and Community Response Services department to fund a defibrillator. This defibrillator would then be used to help members of the Isle of Wight community, should the need arise.
Over £350 has already been raised. You can donate too at https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/thomas-dunnett.
