The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance has airlifted a patient from Brading this morning (Monday).
The life-saving charity was called to the town by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service to airlift a male patient, who is believed to have been suffering with a cardiac complaint.
The brand new helicopter ‘G-HIOW’ – which is equipped for night time flying – landed in the recreation ground near to Beech Grove surgery at 11:15 and has since taken off, transferring the patient to a mainland hospital.
