There are 90 minute delays on Wightlink’s Yarmouth-Lymington route this evening (Monday) due to a problem with the boarding ramp at Yarmouth.
It was at around 17:45 that the technical issue arose, meaning vehicles were unable to disembark.
Wightlink initially reported delays of 30 minutes but that has now developed into hour-and-a-half delays for those travelling to and from the Isle of Wight.
Surely it’s time for a Bridge or Tunnel.
With a lorry on fire in the middle.
There would be a layby to move the burning
vehicle
Lol
Give it up..
I know it will never happen, no Numpty
on the island is capable of building either.
Same bad service as always!
Taking a leaf out of Red Funnels book. Did they get jealous?
In fairness, the Yarmouth-Lymington Wightlink route is usually extremely reliable – far more so than the other routes. Even this problem seems to have been a problem with the dock rather than the ferry. Nothing is infallible and failures will occur occasionally but it is important to retain a level of perspective – no one is dead, for heavens sake!
