A temporary 40mph speed limit is being brought back in on the Island’s dual carriageway tonight (Thursday) following a road traffic collision nearly three weeks ago.
From 19:30 this evening until Thursday 29th October – or when the works have been completed if sooner – the northbound carriageway of Medina Way will be reduced from 70mph to 40mph for road safety reasons until works on a damaged section of the central reservation have been undertaken.
The barrier was damaged back on 18th September following a two-car collision.
Identical restrictions were put in place back in July 2014 and December 2014.
