An Isle of Wight woman who allegedly launched attacks on 2 victims, including holding a blade up to the neck of an elderly woman, will appear at the Isle of Wight Crown Court in the New Year.
Jasmine Ford, 29, of Littlemore Mental Health Centre in Oxford, appeared before Magistrates charged with attempted wounding with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Tuesday.
No plea was entered.
It is alleged that on 1st April 2022 Ford assaulted a woman, hitting her on the arm. Later that day, just 12 hours after the first attack, it is alleged that Ford launched an unprovoked attack on an elderly woman and held a blade to her neck.
The case has been sent to the Isle of Wight Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 16th January.

Attacks on innocents, no matter what the weapon needs a long jail term, but now, the worlds rejects fill our jails, and today they say they are full.
So courts can only slap wrists, so we need to cut immigration to the bone, otherwise the problem will grow ever worse.
Evidently not a slither of compassion for all three ladies that are each victims in their own right.
Only two victims, not three – the third female is the perpetrator and deserves no compassion at all – it is pathetic, hand wringing comments like yours DFL, which are the fundamental reason why this country is in the mess it is
she needs banging up permanently and the key throwing away – she is vile filth
Free, I bet you voted brexit.
Why immigration?
Maybe start at home with the benefit dossers that breed like rats to feed off of the working people… at least the majority or immigrants work or want to…
Working a few hours in low paid jobs means they pay little or nothing IN to the state BUT then take thousands OUT in subsidised or free rent, council tax, child allowance, working tax credits, child tax credits or Universal credits
Adding to NHS queuing and dental care problems
Add the COST. Of supplying a home and the land taken to put it on, we could well do without their COSTLY contribution to our society.
The culprit comes from a mental health centre in Oxford, that says it all. The Government should never have closed down the homes that assisted these people with their mental issues. Unfortunately mental health is becoming worse in this country and the world and locking them up isn’t the answer. They need more specialised Mental Health nurses, the ones currently doing the “nursing” are sometimes more mental than the patient.
the appeal of being a mental health nurse or just in that field is somewhat diminished by the endless stream of weak, pathetic individuals who claim to be suffering but in reality are just using it as an excuse or another percentage that are simply so needy, that they fall flat on their faces when faced with independence, self direction and the big one as an adult “self support” (job/money/will power/self control)
if they were taught as children, to stand on their own two feet, support theirselves, depend on no one, pay for theirselves and were given a good dose of the word “No” and “Sadly you won’t get that” and “you didn’t win, so you get nothing” they might actually be more mentally and emotionally resilient as adults.
I would love to speak to you regarding your views on mental health as
I feel you are painting all people with mental health issues as weak.
