2 women were assaulted and sustained minor injuries following an incident in Upper Ventnor early on Sunday morning.
Police were called at 06:17 to reports of an assault in the vicinity of Newport Road, Ventnor.
It’s understood that an altercation broke out involving a group of men and women who were known to each other.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
No arrests have been made at this time.
