Isle of Wight charity Ability Dogs 4 Young People has opened 2 new charity shops, selling everything from furniture to jewellery.
The first new shop, which is located at 16 Pyle Street in Newport, opened a few weeks ago and is already selling a variety of items to customers at great prices.
A second shop has opened at The Auction House in Regent Street, Shanklin. It is opposite the existing and successful charity shop in Shanklin and, like the Newport shop, the size of the building enables the sale of furniture, clothing, gifts and much more.
All items on sale have been donated to the charity to help raise much needed funds.
Carol Court, founder of Ability Dogs 4 Young People said:
“People have been so generous with their donations.
“We needed extra space to sell these items from as our Training Centre had become rather full. It is really good to have a presence in Newport as well and the new shops really complement our existing, successful shop in Shanklin.”
Both new shops are open Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 16:00. The existing Shanklin shop is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 16:00.
Ability Dogs 4 Young People IoW is an Island charity which trains assistance dogs to improve the lives of physically and mentally disabled young people and children on the Isle of Wight.
