Up to 300 people packed Vernon Square garden in Ryde on Sunday (2nd July) for a 3-hour festival of music, dancing and even a ceramics display.
The event, organised by the Vernon Square Trust, raised a record £1,560 which will now be used for the upkeep of the garden, which is run by volunteers.
Local town crier Steve King, wearing full regalia, was among those in attendance.
The event was closed by barber shop choir Friends in Harmony with ‘There Is Nothing Like A Dame’ from the musical South Pacific.
