14 FUNDRAISERS REACH FOR THE SKY IN AID OF ISLE OF WIGHT CHARITY

14 thrill-seeking fundraisers will be taking to the skies above the Isle of Wight later today (Wednesday) to raise money for the Wight Brainy Bunch.

Charity founder and Isle of Wight firefighter Mark Grimes will join 13 others as they climb to 10,000ft for the tandem skydive with Skydive IOW.

The group, consisting of Jade Oatley, Simon Pond, Adrian Crilly, Frances Button, Javeed Khan, Rachel Rinaldi, Ava Whiteman, Paul Telfer, Luke Connolly, Tracy Fyffe, Ben Cooper, Mark Augustus and Kira Elvin, will be setting off from Sandown Airport.

The Wight Brainy Bunch provide emotional support and financial assistance to Isle of Wight families whose lives have been affected by the devastating effects of brain tumours. The charity also donate to Smile4Wessex (Wessex Neurological Centre) who provide acute specialist care to population of approximately 3 million people from the Isle of Wight and across the South Coast, not only for brain tumours but conditions such as stroke, brain haemorrhage, motor neurone disease and dementia.

The Brain Tumour Charity also receive donations to fund much needed research, aid early diagnosis and improve the care and quality of life for all those living with a brain tumour.
