Islanders have just 1 week left to enter the Island’s largest horticultural competition at The Chale Show, which runs over the weekend of 5th and 6th August.
Well over 1,500 entries are expected in the competition, spread out over some 200 classes. In total there is over £2,000 in prize money available this year and 30 cups/shields.
Classes include horticulture, cookery, art, photography and florestry and more. All abilities and ages are encouraged to enter.
The competition takes place at The Chale Show, one of the Island’s largest outdoor shows that takes place off Military Road at Chale between 10:00-17:00 on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August.
All entries must be received by Monday 1st August. If you enter 8 or more you get free passes to the show.
