Retained firefighters from Freshwater have gained entry to a property in the West Wight in response to a medical emergency.
The Isle of Wight Ambulance Service requested the assistance of the fire service at just gone 09:30 this morning (Monday) as they were unable to gain access to an address on Selwood Road.
A local co-responder was also mobilised to the incident.
Firefighters have now stood down leaving paramedics to tend to the occupant.
