Islanders are being asked to keep a sharp eye out for a Peugeot scooter which has been stolen from the town of Brading overnight.
The Peugeot V-CLIC 50cc was parked up on New Road – the main road through Brading between Ryde and Sandown – at 18:00 last night (Monday).
It’s owner, a local teen, stepped outside his house at just before 08:00 this morning to head to school, only to find the scooter missing.
The motorcycle is described as white with a top box on the back. Registration HW12 LJX.

Sadly we have some horrible beings here now, and with thousands more homes, hardly going to get better. Sad to see the Island decline for normal people by such.

If the police are looking for a bit of crime to solve they might want to head down to Pig Leg Lane and see if that stolen scooter has been dumped there, it will be easy to spot it will be the one burning which sadly seems to be the fate of a number of stolen motorcycles/scooters reported on here.
Easier to pull up a motorist who ‘will pay’ over there break light bulb blown. No muddy shoes, no thug spiting at you, no hours of wasted effort to watch the courts let them off.
Must be hard to be in the Police now, with no court back up.
exactly kerry and if it is raining, the police are indoors scouring twitter for wrong pronoun usage and then targetting the home of the perpetrator.
Oh what a shame for the young lad who owned this scooter. Thieving low life who stole it………….bring it back. Decent people can’t have anything these days. The people that haven’t got things steal from the people that have. So wrong. Earn it and buy it like everyone else.
