Red Funnel has launched its new and hearty winter menu, just in time for the festive season, to be served on board its vehicle ferries making the crossing between East Cowes and Southampton.
The seasonal menu includes home cooked style, winter warmer meals such as beef lasagne (which is back by popular demand), chicken casserole with roast potatoes and flavourful vegetable curry.
In order to craft the special food offering, Red Funnel listened to customer feedback regarding what passengers desired to eat during the journey – and the new menu ticks all the boxes.
Kay Andrew, on-board catering manager at Red Funnel, said:
“It’s important to us that we offer the best customer experience to our passengers on their travels. We thought asking our customers what they wanted on the menu and bringing back these winter favourites would be a great way to add enjoyment not only to the journey but also to the festive season.”
