The UK’s biggest festival volunteers company, Festaff, have opened applications for this year’s best summer events and are looking for 3,000 staff members to cover some of the biggest music festivals in the world, including the Isle of Wight Festival.
Since 2008, the company have welcomed around 16,000 people into the team, with students looking to gain top-class industry experience making up 60% of this total. Festaff allows music fans the chance to experience top UK festivals on a shoestring budget.
Volunteers are required to work shifts in roles including wristband issuers, stewards and bar work before they’re free to enjoy event entertainment. There are also secure staff campsites and facilities to make sure everyone is comfortable throughout their chosen event.
As well as being part of the team that stages many of the UK’s leading events, Festaff also offer the chance to move up through the ranks to become paid members of staff. In fact, 60% of their current employees starting out as volunteers, making them an ideal platform for graduates and people looking to gain invaluable work experience while also having some fun.
