The Phoenix Choir have donated all the profits from the sale of their CD to 6 local organisations.
The beneficiaries, chosen by a choir members’ ballot, including Cardiac Risk In The Young (CRY), The Bus Shelter IOW, Care In The Garden, St Catherine’s, Appley Cliff – Leonard Cheshire Disability Home and John’s Club.
The CD, which was available exclusively from the choir, has now sold out although a follow-up is under consideration.
The choir will continue fundraising at their first concert of the year on Saturday 22nd April. This will be held at All Saints Church, Ryde commencing at 19:30. There is no admission charge, but a retiring collection which will be in aid of the local Island branches of Relate and St John Ambulance.
