Under 18s who live on the Isle of Wight are being invited to submit up to 2 Christmas card designs, using any method they would like. 1 or more of the lucky designs will then feature on The Royal Hotel’s Christmas card for 2016.
In addition to having their design featured on The Royal’s Christmas card, which is distributed to guests and friends of the hotel, the lucky winner will also be treated to a scrumptious 2-course set menu lunch at The Royal for themselves and an accompanying adult.
This exciting competition is the latest collaboration between the Isle of Wight Youth Trust and The Royal Hotel, which has a long history of supporting the Trust’s work and is a Gold Corporate Sponsor of the charity.
William Bailey, Managing Director of The Royal said:
“We are excited with our partnership with Isle of Wight Youth Trust. This project is designed to encourage children to get creative and have the opportunity for their creative flair to be recognised. It is also a great chance for children and young people and their families to get involved in a fun activity.”
Eileen Monks OBE, Director of the Youth Trust added:
“Here at the Youth Trust we carry out the serious work of supporting Island children and young people with professional counselling. This competition is a chance for us to have a bit of fun with young islanders and it’s also an opportunity for them to have their talents recognised.”
Designs can be creating using any craft material (paint/crayons or even glitter!) and be as creative as you like.
All entries should be A5 in size (148mm x 210mm portrait or landscape) and be submitted to the Youth Trust on the address below no later than Monday 21st November.
