5-year-old Gracie-Mae Peacock has raised an incredible £1,435 by having 14-inches of her own hair cut off for the benefit of the Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs for children.
The big cut took place earlier this month at the High Park Tavern in Ryde following an online Crowdfunding campaign. As previously reported by Island Echo, the target was to raised £500 but that was smashed within the first week of fundraising.
A total of 3 wigs are set to be created from Gracie-Mae’s blonde locks, with the £1,400 raised also going a long way to supporting the children’s charity.
