The Island’s MP, Andrew Turner is out and about in villages across the Island from today (Monday) undertaking his annual Summer Surgeries, supported once again by Premier Ford.
Mr Turner said:
“I really enjoy the summer recess, when I can spend more time on the Island talking to constituents. By travelling around to Island villages and towns it means those people who find it difficult to get to my weekly surgeries at my office in Newport can raise any issues they have with me in their own neighbourhood.
“It is so important for me to hear the views of local people, and to discuss any issues they have which I might be able to help with. So please do come along and have a chat with me when I’m in your neighbourhood. No appointment is necessary.”
Mr Turner will be out from today until Thursday this week and next week from Tuesday to Thursday. He will also be at the Garlic Festival on the 20th and 21st August and looks forward to talking to Islanders there.
