Festaff, the UK’s biggest festival volunteers company, is offering one lucky student the ultimate summer internship: running their social media channels for some of the UK’s best music festivals, including Glastonbury, T in the Park, Bestival and more.
In an online job description, the company describe the ideal candidate as having ‘proven work experience’, ‘a flair for writing snappy content’ and ‘the ability to capture unique festival atmospheres with a single image, short film clip or GIF’.
The ‘social media maestro’ will spend their days capturing enviable content and posting them on Festaff’s Facebook, Instagram and twitter accounts. Interacting with an audience of around 20,000 (and growing!), the ‘Festaffer’ will showcase the opportunities that volunteering with Festaff can offer. As a member of festival staff, the maestro will also be able to give Festaff’s social fans and followers a glimpse of what life is like behind the scenes.

The successful applicant will cover 8 of the biggest festivals on Festaff’s roster: Glastonbury, Download, T in the Park, V Festival, Bestival, Blue Dot, Kendall Calling and Creamfields, joining a record 3,700 volunteers set to hit the road with the company this summer.
