Ventnor’s Earl Mountbatten shop is thanking a generous benefactor who donated a large bag of loose change.
The cash was left just inside the office door but, unfortunately, staff didn’t have chance to personally thank the donor.
Sally Anderson, who is the Relief Manager at the Ventnor shop, said:
“When I counted up the coins, I was amazed to find that they amounted to £258.84 which is a substantial amount of money. I’m only sorry that we weren’t able to say a big thank you to the person who left the money.”
