The Needles is gearing up for a spectacular summer as it launches a month of free entertainment for visitors to enjoy, including the annual firework displays.
The landmark attraction will host live music and entertainment 6 days a week, with the highlight being a weekly firework display set to music.
Described as ‘a pyromusical extravaganza’, Music & Magic in the Skies will take place every Thursday from 28th July to 25th August. Each week the fireworks event will raise awareness and funds for one of the following island causes: Earl Mountbatten Hospice; Ability Dogs 4 Young People; Isle Drive Safe – Remember Evey; Challenge & Adventure and Beaulieu Respite.
Marino Zanti, general manager at The Needles Landmark Attraction, said:
“The school holidays are almost here and everyone at the attraction is getting ready for summer to really start.
“Our weekly fireworks event promises to be almost as spectacular as The Needles themselves. What’s more, we’ve also arranged for some of the island’s top musical talent – Lucid, The Nuberryz and Derek Sandy – to perform throughout the week.
“Visitors only pay to park their cars and for the activities they want to enjoy at The Needles, the entertainment is completely free of charge.”
