Isle of Wight based musician Max Cowley will be releasing a new single named ‘A Better Man’ on Thursday, created to make people aware of and raise money for Crohns and Colitis UK.
The single has been co-written with Greg Thomas, who 2 years ago was diagnosed with ulcerative Colitis and last year had a large operation to have an ileostomy, leaving him with a stoma bag. Since the operation he has had some bad setbacks, with needing to go back to hospital.
All the lyrics in this song have been written by Greg, where he tells the story of his harder moments in the verses but in the chorus showing that after everything that has happened he feels he’s become ‘A Better Man’.
Max was not aware of Crohns and Colitis till Greg had the disease, but now realises how serious the condition can be. Max feels it is so important to raise awareness of this issue so others can understand the seriousness too.
100% of the money raised from the sale of the track will be donated to Crohns and Colitis UK.
‘A Better Man’ will be available for download from Thursday 26th May at www.maxcowley.bandcamp.com.
