Local business professional Dale Howarth has been awarded Accredited Speaker Status with The Continuing Professional Development Standards Office (CPDSO) and is now one of only 50 accredited speakers across the UK and the only speaker accredited on the Isle of Wight.
The prestigious accreditation reflects Dales experience and success as a leading business speaker, which sees him present to thousands of people from companies and within academic institutions across the UK, Mainland Europe and North America.
Dale was awarded his accreditation by Amanda Rosewarne, Director of CPD Accreditation and Research at a special event held in The Charles Hayward Room at The Royal College of Surgeons in Central London.
Amanda comments:
“We are delighted to award Dale with CPD Standards accreditation. By undertaking a rigorous third party verification process, he has ensured that his seminars, presentations and speeches are fully appropriate for formal CPD purposes and delivered to the highest possible standard.
“By becoming part of the CPDSO, Dale will be able to pioneer and share CPD approved activities to the business community and we look forward to working with him going forwards.”
As a CPD Accredited Speaker, delegates attending many of Dale’s lectures and presentations will now be able to gain valuable CPD certified knowledge and CPD points that support their professional personal development plans.
There are over 1,400 professional bodies, institutes and membership associations nationally in the UK and anyone who works within public services or a sector that is formally regulated such as Solicitors, Accountants, Finance and Energy is likely to be required to track and progress their Continuing Professional Development. This makes CPD an essential part in maintaining career development, professional qualifications, license to practice and memberships. Increasingly, Universities and Colleges are now using CPD to enhance courses and help students work towards their career ambitions.
The CPD Standards Office provides independent and evidence-based assessment of leading professionals such as Dale and forms part of the Professional Development Consortium overseen by an Expert Advisory Board comprising, academics, employers and professional bodies.
