David Coulson has showed his appreciation of the RNLI by presenting a cheque for £1,000 in memory of his father, Noel.
The presentation was made to Yarmouth RNLI’s Coxswain, Howard Lester, who gave David a guided tour of the Yarmouth All Weather lifeboat, The Eric and Susan Hiscock (Wanderer).
David, who lives in Bedford, was on a motorbike holiday on the Isle of Wight with his family and took the opportunity to present his father’s cheque whilst here. The money will be used only for necessities on the Yarmouth Lifeboat, such as crew training and development and repair or replacement of lifesaving equipment.
