Doreen said:
“I am absolutely thrilled to be crowned one of Travelodge’s Breakfast Champions. All of my colleagues across the business work extremely hard and strive to deliver the best customer service therefore it’s such an honour to receive this recognition not just for me but for my hotel too.”
“We know that breakfast is a crucial part of our customer’s stay with us, so we have spent a considerable amount of time working with them to define exactly how we can get their day off to the best possible start.
“Customers love our new breakfast menu, you can’t beat a good traditional Full English and with the introduction of our new branded items and Lavazza coffee options, it’s a big winner.
“Not in my wildest dreams did I think that I would one day visit Turin the home of espresso. I have never been to Italy and the trip certainly was an opportunity of a lifetime. We had an exclusive tour of the Lavazza coffee plant to experience first-hand how their 120 year old coffee blend is created. We enjoyed coffee tasting sessions and learnt how coffee is grown, sourced and roasted.
“Now when I am serving my customers breakfast I can share facts about the coffee they are drinking.”
This new breakfast menu is the company’s latest step on its journey to build new Travelodge. Supporting its £100 million nationwide hotel modernisation programme and improved guest experience, this is another reminder that Travelodge is Britain’s favourite hotel for value.
