Self-catering holiday company cottages.com has appointed a new Regional Manager on the Isle of Wight.
Victoria Dixon, who lives in Cowes, will manage the company’s 231 properties currently available for holiday letting in the area, with a view to growing the portfolio to meet the ever growing demand from holidaymakers.
Victoria brings to the role a wealth of experience in the holiday letting business, having joined the team from a local island-based holiday company and having formerly owned a self-catering company in Cadiz, Spain, which continues to operate with more than 200 properties on its books.
cottages.com is the UK’s largest holiday cottage company and the market leaders on the Isle of Wight. It helped more than 14,000 holidaymakers to visit the island last year and latest booking figures reveal many of the island’s top holiday destinations, including Cowes, Brighstone, Freshwater and Yarmouth, are experiencing bumper bookings this year.
In her role as Regional Manager, Victoria will be working in partnership with property owners to help them fulfil their rental income potential amid an ever increasing market, accurately assessing prices and sharing expert advice and marketing support.
Commenting on her appointment, Victoria said:
“The Isle of Wight is a stunning destination and one in which I feel incredibly lucky to live and work. I am passionate about holiday letting, helping visitors from outside the area to enjoy our beautiful island.
“It’s a privilege to be working with a fantastic team at cottages.com and alongside our great network of property owners, sharing honest, trusted advice and making a difference to new business ventures for people in the area.”
Wendy Halliday, Property Director at cottages.com said:
