An Isle of Wight junior football team will sport a new kit this season after teaming up with Amey.
The Isle of Wight Community Club Under 12s Cowes Youth team have received full home and away kits under the sponsorship deal.
As part of the sponsorship, Amey will use the Community Club’s car park as a venue for the mobile recycling centre once the facility enters full service.
Stephen Hendey, Chairman of the Isle of Wight Community Club and also manager for the club’s Under 12s team, said:
“I want to thank Amey for supporting the club with the new kit, which will make a big difference to the team this year.
“The players are really looking forward to wearing their new strip this season.”
Simon Butler, Amey’s Communications and Community Engagement Manager for Amey, added:
“We’re very pleased to sponsor the Under 12s and wish them every success for the forthcoming season. I also want to thank Stephen and the management at the Isle of Wight Community Club for supporting Amey in providing a venue in a main town for our mobile recycling facility in future.”
The Isle of Wight Community Club’s football teams were formed in 2013 and cater for players aged 7 to 17.
