ALMOST £4000 RAISED BY BLUE LIGHT CHARITY BALL

wightbrainybunchlogoAlmost £4,000 has been raised to help support families here on the Island whose lives have been affected by the devastating effects of brain tumours.

The Blue Light Black Tie charity ball saw a good crowd dust off their glad rags and join The Wight Brainy Bunch at Ryde Castle for a champagne reception whilst enjoying the Nightingales Choir and a 2-course sit down meal.

The Wight Brainy Bunch was set up after Isle of Wight firefighter Mark Grimes was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Mark and his wife Kathryn have worked tirelessly to raise awareness of brain tumours and fundraise well in excess of £10,000 along the way.

This latest event in total raised £3913.40 which will now be split between The Wight Brainy Bunch, Smile4Wessex, The Brain Tumour Charity and The Firefighters Charity.
