STRUGGLING PUBLIC HOUSE RECIEVES FACE LIFT

thefalconswanmorerydeA struggling pub in Ryde is set to re-open its doors next week after a month long closure for extensive refurbishment.

The fresh new look of The Falcon will set higher standards for the Swanmore pub, which will welcome families to its warm, friendly environment.

Before The Falcon was taken over by new management it was a declining and relatively unused bar in the suburbs of Ryde. Now, it is hoped new interest will be ignited amongst the locals, Islanders and tourists alike. The Falcon also enjoys a sense of community, which is why they’re now supporting a range of Island sports teams from football to cribbage.

The new look will be unveiled on the 1st May 2015 with a weekend of celebration.

The grand reopening will see DJ/Disco from Ska Fever from 19:30 until 23:00, whilst Saturday will see a Bouncy Castle, BBQ, Face Painting and Live Band ‘The Orders’ between 21:00 and 23:00.

Celebrations continue o Sunday 3rd May with a Bouncy Castle and Live Band ‘Blues List’ from 18:00 until 20:00.
