Travelodge hotel teams across the country receive strange requests and questions throughout the year, and Isle of Wight is no different with one guest asking what the native language is on the Island.
The chain’s hotels in Ryde and Newport have been busy throughout 2015 and have experienced some of the oddest requests from guests.
Some of the questions and requests include:
• Can you help me get back the mainland for free?
• Can you drive me to the beach and help me set up my Kite Surf?
• What language do people speak on the Island?
• I’m going to build a boat. Would you mind helping?
• Can I borrow one of your Travelodgical puppets for my wedding?

“With over 17 million customers staying annually in our 506 UK Travelodge hotels, our hotel teams receive thousands of unusual requests from business and leisure travellers. Our hotel teams will always try their best to accommodate all customer requests but there are some requests that we just cannot help with such as building a boat.”
