It has been a busy week for the volunteer crew of Yarmouth RNLI, who attended their sixth shout in the space of a week last night (Saturday).
The All Weather lifeboat was tasked to launch just after 22:00 to assist a 21ft speed boat situated 2 miles northwest of the Needles Lighthouse with engine problems.
The lifeboat arrived and transfered 3 casualties on to the ALB and attached a tow line to the broken down boat before making headway back to Yarmouth Harbour.
The shout came less than 12 hours after being called to reports of a boat on fire in The Solent.
