8-year-old Ruby Mason has grabbed herself a basket of easter eggs after having a crack at Sainsbury’s Easter competition.
For just £1.00 customers and colleagues at Sainsbury’s in Newport could guess how many eggs were in the basket for their chance to win a beautifully handmade basket, made by store colleague Janet Corbett.
Ruby, from Carisbrooke, was yesterday (Friday) crowned the winner with the nearest guess of eggs – her guess being 90 eggs, with the actual figure of 91 Chocolate Eggs in the basket.
The competition proved popular, raising £76.00 for The Isle of Wight Society for the Blind.
