Newly-formed local business ‘LA Aquatics’ have opened their first store today (Saturday), bringing a whole host of saltwater reef aquatic supplies to the Island.
As well as a vast selection of varying saltwater fish species, corals and equipment, the store is the first and only stockist of live jellyfish on the Isle of Wight.
Aaron Wherry, owner of LA Aquatics said:
“With the increase in popularity of fishkeeping as a hobby as well as having this as a strong passion myself, I saw the need for an independent local stockist of high quality yet affordable saltwater reef products.
“With this, we can also offer set-up and servicing packages for local businesses wanting to bring a focal point to their business premises – or even just for the at home user who may not have the know-how or confidence to install their own”.
A 24-Hour emergency & advice helpline is being offered by the business, ensuring that you will not be left in the dark if an emergency with your system should occur.
The new store opened to the public this morning at Unit 7A, Wootton Business Park. Parking is available to the front of the store.
Throughout today (Saturday) talks will be given, giving an insight into the science of these mysterious and beautiful underwater kingdoms.
