The Isle of Wight Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is setting up an Isle of Wight Maternity Service Liaison Committee (MSLC) which will act as a voice for the people who use maternity services on the Isle of Wight.
It is a committee of mums, dads and professionals who meet to discuss how antenatal, delivery and postnatal services can be made better for people on the Isle of Wight.
If you are a mum or dad who has used Isle of Wight Maternity Services recently, eager to represent local mums and dads to voice their views and ideas to improve local maternity services and able to attend regular meetings (between 4 – 8 a year) then the Maternity Services Liaison Committee could be for you.
Spaces are limited so anyone with an interest should get in touch before 24th November 2014.
If you are interested in joining the Committee and/or have any questions, contact Yasmin Wills on 01983 552593 or email [email protected].
You can find out more about Maternity Service Liaison Committees at https://www.chimat.org.uk/resource/view.aspx?QN=MSLC_ABOUT.
Please note, the MSLC is not a forum to discuss individual care or a channel for complaints, anyone with concerns should contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01983 534850 or email [email protected].
