The Newchurch Male Voice Choir have presented a cheque for £1138 to a local charity.
The group handed over the cheque on Friday to the Isle of Wight Association for Spina-Bifida and Hydrocephalus for monies raised from collections at each of the choir’s events throughout 2014.
Every year the Choir presents concerts around the Island and raises monies from collections at each event to donate to their chosen charity.
Don Emery, the Choir Chairman and Roy Bevan, Musical Director, handed over the large cheque at the start of the Association’s AGM.
The Choir will be performing on Friday (27th March) at 19:30 at the Wootton Bridge Methodist Church.
