Pub-goers can enjoy a January Sale with a difference this New Year – at three pubs in the local area.
Managers at S. Fowlers & Co. in Union Street, Ryde and The William Coppin in Newport, plus The Man in the Moon in St James Street, Newport, are reducing the price on a range of drinks and meals from Monday January 5th until Thursday January 22nd inclusive.
The pubs will each be serving seven of their regular drinks between £2.19 and £2.49.
They will also be offering a choice of four meals at £2.99 each and a cup of filter coffee for 79p.
The drinks on offer in the sale are; a pint of Carlsberg (£2.19), a glass of Coldwater Creek wine (£2.49 for a 175ml measure), a Gordon’s Gin (£2.45 for a single measure with mixer), a Jameson whiskey (£2.45 for a single measure with mixer), a pint of real ale (£2.29 from the selection of guest ales available) and a pint of Stowford Press or Thatchers Gold cider (£2.29).
On the food front, the four meals at £2.99 are; Wiltshire cured ham, eggs and chips, chicken wrap, smoked salmon, cream cheese and rocket bagel, as well as a jacket potato. Soup of the day (with bloomer bread) will be available for £1.99.
Fowlers & Co. manager, Neil Longley, said:
“Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.
“The range of drinks and meals on sale is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes and I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers.
“As always staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly.”
