The open-top Needles Breezer service follows the island’s dramatic Jurassic coastline and offers some outstanding countryside views in between.
Southern Vectis general manager, Matt Kitchin said:
“We are very lucky here on the island to have an incredible mix of coastal and scenic rural areas.
“Our Needles Breezer route climbs up the cliff edge to a point high above the Needles Rocks and Lighthouse. And it also takes in the picturesque harbour town of Yarmouth, beautiful Freshwater Bay and weaves its way into the fun filled Needles Park and Alum Bay.
“This is not an official tour bus – it is a service that our passengers can use on a regular basis throughout the year between Saturday 14 March and Sunday 1 November.
“It is particularly popular amongst, locals and holiday makers, young and old – and concessionary customers can use their passes to take a wonderfully relaxing trip.
“I think other bus operators in Britain will find it very hard to beat us on this one. We know there are some worthy challengers, so we’re open to suggestions – but I urge anyone looking for incredible views and a wonderful day out to take the Needles Breezer now that the season has started”.
