ISLAND HOLIDAY PARK SHORTLISTED FOR THE GREAT BRITISH PARK OFF

whitefieldlogoFollowing a nationwide search to find Britain’s most treasured holiday parks, the Isle of Wight’s Whitefield Forest Touring Park has been selected along with 9 other parks from across the country to make the top 10 shortlist.

The park, which works with the Forestry commission and the Isle of Wight Conservation Partnership, has been praised for helping to maintain the natural beauty of the land. The winner of the prestigious title of “Britain’s Top Holiday Park” will be announced on 28th July, and will receive £1,000.

Towergate Insurance’s “Great British Park Off” team has searched the length and breadth of the country to select the top ten parks to visit with your touring caravan and is now inviting the public to vote for their favourite. More than 150 parks up and down the country were judged on a criteria which included outstanding customer feedback, the standard of facilities on site, universal appeal and a sense of uniqueness making a particular holiday park stand out from the crowd.
