Island Roads have said their winter service decision is to treat the precautionary routes and bridge decks at Stag lane and Foxes Road, Newport tonight (Wednesday) and tomorrow morning.
The first grit run will commence at 18:00 at 15grsqm and again at 05:00 Thursday morning at 10grsqm.
They are advising drivers to drive according to the conditions.
