Hovertravel’s Ryde terminal now has two collection bins for customers looking to donate clothing to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice.
The Earl Mountbatten Hospice has asked that all donations must be clean, usable and of saleable quality. The better the quality of the items, the more money they can raise from their sale. These can be unwanted gifts, children’s clothing or men’s and women’s clothing and shoes.
Commercial and Marketing Manager at Hovertravel, Loretta Lale said:
“As long-term and proud supporters of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice, we want to help out where ever we can. Our terminal at Ryde is a great location for people to donate their unwanted clothing.
“As well as commuters dropping off clothes on their way to work, we have also been accepting donations from local Ryde residents.”
Darren Button of the Earl Mountbatten Hospice added:
“Working in partnership with Hovertravel opens up a new source of donations for us. Hundreds of customers pass through their terminals each day and if all of them brought one good donation it would go a long way to helping the Hospice raise the vital funds it needs to provide fantastic palliative care.”
