The ability to comment on individual articles published on the Island Echo website is a feature that has gone down incredibly well, with over 52,000 comments submitted to date.
However, the decision has been taken to turn off commenting on the website over the Christmas period to enable the Island Echo team to enjoy a festive break.
From today (Tuesday) and until the start of January, you will be unable to leave comments on new or existing articles. Commenting remains open on our Facebook Page.
This year we have published in excess of 5,200 stories – an increase of around 1,000 articles when compared to the whole of 2019.
