Christ the King College’s Year 12 Performing Arts students welcomed 40 children and staff from Clever Cloggs Pre-School on Tuesday for an engaging theatre project.
The students put on a piece of original Children’s Theatre, linked to early years learning and engagement. The piece told the story of the missing Christmas star and the adventure of various Christmas characters; including Miss Twinkly Lights, Mr Cracker and Little Miss Star and how together they find the star and ensure that Christmas is not ruined.
Head of Drama and Performing Arts, Juliet Reed-Birks, said:
“The children from Clever Cloggs joined in throughout the performance with songs, dances and interactive activities. They were an absolutely wonderful audience and the Year 12 students put on a fantastic afternoon of entertainment”.
Student performers included Hollie Dunstan; Laura Jones; Sophie Martin; Benjamin McLaughlin; Cerys Moore; Joseph Myles; Laura Prouten; Anastasia Sallee and Jessica Sharpe.
