Hairdressers are once again being forced to close as the country enters a second lockdown, meaning a return of 80s-style haircuts for the next 4 weeks.
Although the restrictions imposed on everyday life are less strict than back in March, the personal care industry has been hit again with forced closures. Hairdressers, beauty salons and tanning booths will now be closed until 2nd December.
Boris has promised to lift the lockdown at the start of December, with a view to returning to a local tiered system. However, nothing is guaranteed and Islanders have this week been flocking to get a haircut just in case 4 weeks turns into 4 months.
