To mark the anniversary, Five Rivers held an event for local foster carers and their families at the Bargeman’s Rest in Newport which included an inspiring talk from the Founder of Five Rivers, Pam McConnell.

The event was thoroughly enjoyed by children of all ages and carers that have fostered with Five Rivers for many years from the beginning and carers from January 2015.

Five Rivers are very proud to have the pleasure of working with such remarkable people and place a high importance on recognising the hard work that they do to make a real difference to the lives of young disadvantaged people.

If you or someone you know are interested in fostering and would like to find out more, contact 01722 435765 or visit five-rivers.org/fostering.
