Police are this week appealing for information after a man with learning difficulties was attacked in Binstead in the early hours of New Year’s Day, just an hour and a half after welcoming in the new year.
The 42-year-old man was the victim of an unprovoked attacked at 01:30 on New Year’s Day in the Sherbourne Avenue area of Binstead near Ryde.
Now, Hampshire Constabulary are asking anyone who may have saw the attack to get in contact.
The suspect is described as a white, aged 20 to 30 and about 6ft tall, of skinniy build with dark, spikey hair. He was clean shaven and had piercings in both ears. He was wearing a jacket and scruffy trainers and he was accompanied by two females, who were described as slim with scruffy hair.
