Wightlink Ferries are supporting businesses in Yarmouth this spring by cutting the cost of ferry travel to and from Lymington during the month of March.
Discount vouchers in the Southampton Daily Echo and the Lymington Times, as well as a local paper, will give 15% off the fare for a car or van under five metres long*, its driver and up to six passengers. These reductions will apply to travel both ways across the Solent.
Wightlink’s Commercial Director, Clive Tilley said:
“We recognise that road works around Yarmouth may be discouraging people from visiting the shops, pubs and cafés in this lovely town.
“This is our way of promoting trade and helping more people on the mainland to discover Yarmouth for themselves.”
Anthea Payne, interim chair of Destination Yarmouth adds:
“We are very impressed by the way Wightlink has stepped-up and supported Yarmouth at this tough time. The discounted travel offer on the Lymington-Yarmouth route, should increase visitor numbers and hopefully keep Yarmouth trading while the roads are closed.”
