“Wightlink were my first call. I had such a strong feeling they would embrace the Awards. And what better way to show how much they appreciate the contribution the local business women make to our community.

“I cannot wait to honour the drive, energy and input of all the fabulous women in business on the Isle of Wight. We want to hear from you or any other company wishing to recognise, support and engage with Island businesswomen”.

Nominations, when they open, can be made for a friend, colleague, client, boss, employee, acquaintance, family member of someone admired for their qualities and / or achievements. Winners of the Isle of Wight awards will have the chance to compete at the National Finals.

Mark Persad, Head of Marketing at Wightlink, said:

“Wightlink is delighted to help raise awareness of the vital contribution women make to the Isle of Wight’s economy.  We seized the chance to be involved in the Venus Awards, and it’s fantastic that we will get an opportunity to celebrate the Island’s inspirational women through this nationally recognised event.”
