The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service will be opening applications for new wholetime firefighter positions from Monday.
For the first time in several years, the service will be taking on new, full-time recruits to work at either Newport or Ryde Fire Stations.
Online applications will open at 00:01 on Monday (21st September 2020) and will close just a few days later at 23:59 on Wednesday 23rd September 2020.
The selection process will consist of 4 stages; an application form, a verbal and numerical ability test, a fitness and functional assessment day and an interview.

Application sifting will take place between September and October 2020. Interviews will be held during the weeks commencing 30th November, 7th December and 14th December 2020.
